形態特徵

• Stoloniferous perennial. Culms tufted, 40-80 cm tall, 2-3 mm thick, terete or at times weakly angular, fresh-green, slightly shiny, rather rigid.
• Basal sheaths 2 or 3, uppermost one 6-10 cm long, obliquely truncate at orifice, whitish, sometimes tiriged with light red-brown below.
• Spikelet cylindrical, 1-2.5 cm long, 3-4 mm wide, somewhat angular, subloosely several- to many-flowered, light green or tinged with straw-brown.
• Glumes erect, ovate-oblong, 4-5 mm long, obtuse at apex, herbaceous, pale green, finely several-nerved on dorsal part, broadly membranaceous on margins. Achenes broadly obovate, 1.5-2 mm long, compressed, trigonous, straw-brown, shiny, longitudinally striate with linear-oblong epidermal cells; style 5-6 mm long, 3-fid, base depressed crescentiform with both sides gradually narrowed along achene-edges without constriction. Hypogynous bristles 6 or 7, rigid, much surpassing achene, retrorsely spinulose-scabrous.
